The Career Center is currently collecting employment data on all 2018 UGA graduates. Complete the survey for a chance to win a prize valued at $500. The winner of the $500 prize drawing may choose from a predetermined list of items, including DJI Phantom Drone, Xbox One X, PS4 Pro Game Console, 55” Sharp TV, Apple Watch, and more.
Post-graduation data is completely confidential, and is utilized in ranking procedures to increase the value of your degree, as well as to provide career guidance to current UGA students and alumni.

Arch Ready: You Majored in What? Alumni Panel Event

Translating the major you love to a career you'll love can be a challenge. You may not know how to answer questions like, “What will you do with that major?” or “Why are you majoring in that?” At this event, a panel of recent alumni will join us to share information about their careers and how they got there after completing a degree from UGA. They are here to offer you practical advice to help you answer the questions above as well as take steps toward carving a career path you'll love.
In this panel you will:
• Hear from recent alumni who have successfully carved their career paths
• Learn more about what you can be doing now to pursue a career you will love
• Have the opportunity to network with the panelists

D.C. Hopefuls - Georgia Launch Webinar

This program is for students to learn the differences between college and work environments. Students will also learn tips to help manage a budget, find a place to live, and understand insurance/benefits vocabulary.

Identify strategies to successfully begin your professional career 3. Identify tips and resources to help transition into living in the "real world."

Shire Open House - Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 Biotech Internships

Shire will be hosting an Open House Event specifically for students interested in internship opportunities for either Spring or Summer of 2019. If you would like to attend, please register using the link below. There will be a cap of 60 students for the event, so be sure to register early.
During the Open House, you will have the opportunity to speak with hiring managers and Subject Matter Experts who are hiring interns for the Shire GA Manufacturing facility. You will also be able to take a window tour of the manufacturing buildings. We are excited to show you our state-of-the art Biotech facility and share our passion for providing life-saving therapies to our patients.
Please bring at least 10 copies of your resume to the event.
