Monday Morning Memo - Week 13
11/25/19
Dear Poupard Leaders,
Happy Thanksgiving
My first two years, I shared a general thanksgiving message for our entire staff. I opted for a different route this year through some inspiration I found in a few different places. I hope that most of you were able to receive your notes from me at some point today. If you haven't, please be sure to visit the office and check your mailbox or visit Cindy to claim your note from me.
To summarize, the general theme was how thankful I am for each and everyone of you. You all contribute so much of yourselves to our students and for that I will forever be grateful. I left a few additional paper turkeys in the conference room upstairs if you too are inspired to share how thankful you are for the amazing people we work with at Poupard.
Have a fantastic Thanksgiving Break with your loved ones!
Ali

Class Newsletters
Please share your weekly newsletters with me by "Ccing" me when they are emailed out to families. This allows for me to stay connected with all of the exciting things happening inside of your classrooms.
GES3
Our GES3 meeting dates and deadlines have been established by the team. You can access that information below. It will also be made available on our Poupard Schoology page.
GES3 Dates and Information Page
Walkie Talkie
All Classroom Teachers should have received a Walkie Talkie. Please take it with you when you take your students outside for an extra recess. The office staff will use it to locate individual students, typically for early dismissal.Emergency Information
Please be sure to review all of the emergency information for fire drills and tornado drills inside of your classrooms. We will be doing a sweep to make sure your emergency bags are stocked with everything that necessary and include updated rosters as they become available.
Behavior Referrals
Behavior Referrals must be completed using the Online Behavior Form. Staff must complete the behavior form anytime a student is sent down to the office for a major office referral. Homeroom Teachers and Special Area Teachers are responsible for contacting the family to notify them of any incidents that occurred inside of the classroom. Please call home over an email whenever possible. Personally, I'd recommend sharing anything over 3-4 sentences over a phone call as well.
