Library in Your Classroom

Thank you for your hospitality as I am displaced from my home for a little while. As of now PARCC is scheduled to be done April 22, so plan on me coming to you until then. I will be bringing books for the students to check out starting this week for 4th grade and next week for all others. Please have students return them to the basket but keep the basket in the room.

Tumble Books

Exciting news! We have been selected to take part in a trial for TumbleBooks with Fountaindale Library. Our school will have access to this wonderful tool until May 31. If you choose to use this resource we will be looking for feedback. If this program is purchased through Fountaindale you and your students will have access.

What is TumbleBooks?

TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach kids to read in a format that is kid-friendly. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book to read or have read to someone.
