We are excited to have a Family Math Night on Thursday, September 29th 6:00-7:30 in the school cafeteria. There will also be an informative Title 1 parent meeting. All are welcome.
A reminder if you have any dismissal changes you are to call the school office before 1:30. Do not email or call your child's teacher. They are busy teaching.

Meet Sydney Champi- Long Term Subsitute for Mrs. Argenbright
Hi Elkton Elementary!
My name is Sydney Champi and I am going to be in 5th grade working as a long-term substitute for Mrs. Argenbright. I am a recent graduate from James Madison University, majoring in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and minoring in Elementary Education. I am also a current graduate student at JMU pursuing my masters in Elementary Education.
I previously had experience at Elkton, competing my practicum in 5th grade there. I have also completed a practicum at Cub Run Elementary in Kindergarten. I love the Elkton staff and community, and can’t wait to have an opportunity to work there again.
Just a few things about me: I was born and raised in New Jersey and I love being with family and friends, being outdoors, and trying new restaurants in Rockingham County. I have had a great summer being back home in NJ with my older sister, Lauren, and parents. However, I can’t wait to be back near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and starting the school year at Elkton!
