Dear Humanitas Magnet Families,
We are slowly receiving new information about the opening of the 2020-2021 school year. As promised, I will continue to update you as new information becomes available. If you were able to attend the virtual town hall or meeting with our principal this week, you probably already have this information.
Your Humanitas Magnet teachers have begun to meet virtually to plan for the fall semester. We all agree that the most important things to keep in mind right now are flexibility and compassion. We understand what you’ve been going through because we are facing similar challenges with our own families. We miss our students and we look forward to going back to our classrooms when it’s safe for everyone.
Distance learning is not the same as learning in our classrooms. It will come with different challenges and we will find creative solutions along the way. We are all going to do our best! Students, teachers, and parents can do great things when we all work together.
- We will try our best to make distance learning interesting and engaging for our students.
- We will try to make procedures simple and easy to understand.
- We will always treat our students as individuals and be as accommodating as possible.
- We will listen to your feedback.
Sincerely,
Your Humanitas Magnet Teachers
