7.25 Per Hour in the State of North Carolina
Things about Minimum Wage
Minimum wage is the minimum hourly wage an employer can pay an employee for work. Right now the Federal Wage is 7.25 an hour. In some states and other cities the wage is even higher than that. Minimum wage is mainly for the youth.
In our state, minimum wage only being 7.25 an hour really effects the citizens. I don't think that it is fair for the youth that just because they are younger, they don't get paid as much when they do the same job as everyone else in there.
