THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! Thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers who helped keep our Scholastic Book Fair running smoothly this week. Special thanks to Marie, Rachel, and Laura for chairing this committee and making the fair fun and a big success!
Looking to get involved? Many hands make light work and no experience is necessary!
-Golf Committee- Our golf outing will be in Oct. 2016. We hope the entire school will help us obtain raffle items and sponsorships.
-Celebrate Our Girls Dance Committee- event to be held on Friday, Feb. 5th (different date than what is reflected in district calendar)
-PBIS volunteers and small prize donations needed throughout the year.
-Reading Committee volunteers needed throughout the year, but especially for our upcoming Partners in Reading events in January.
-Yearbook Committee needs your help taking and submitting pictures of events. Don't forget to send in those great shots you'll be taking at upcoming holiday parties! Please submit pictures to email@example.com.
-Spirit Wear and Yearbook Sales will be coming in January and February.
LEGO Club K-2: Registration is now open for the Jan. 6 - Feb. 10th K-2 LEGO Club. Spots are first come first served so be sure to complete your registration form, which can be found on the DN website, and send it back into school. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
***We are still in need of a parent volunteer to lead our 3-5 LEGO Club sessions. Please let us know if you are able to help present pre-made lessons during the 6 week session in the spring.
SNACPack Food Drive
The SNACPack program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children on weekends, when other resources are not available. The program provides backpacks filled with food that is child-friendly, shelf-stable, and easily-consumed. Bags are packed each week by volunteers and discreetly distributed to participating children every Friday afternoon.
The SNACPack program will be collecting goods at Dorothy Nolan. They are looking for 4 items which include:
- Protein Bars
- Mac & Cheese, Water Only type (Ex. Easy Mac, Velveeta)
- 100% Juice Boxes
- Pasta (any type)
Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

- 12/16-Gr. 4 & 5 Chorus, Chime Choir Concert @ 6pm
