Attendance Matters
Here are our numbers for the 2nd Nine weeks of school. We appreciate everyone's efforts in ensuring their students are in attendance and on time. Please make sure you bring in doctor's notes if your child is out. We really want them here and understand they can't be if they are sick. It take a team to help keep our attendance rates up high. So, let's focus on raising those attendance rates in PreK-2nd grades!
Donuts with Grown-Ups
We are continuing our roll out of a sweet new event: Donuts with Grownups! Each month, we’ll be holding a morning of tasty treats with loved ones. Next up, First Grade! Please join us for this fun event for parents, grandparents or another special grown-up in your child’s life! We’ll be passing out donuts from 7:45-8:15 am in the Cafeteria. Please RSVP here:
This RSVP will not only serve as a headcount for the number of donut holes we need, but pre-printed visitor badges. Please remember that if we do not have your ID already on file for this current school year, we will not be able to pre-print a badge. You will have to check in with the office in the morning.
Below is the schedule for the rest of the year:
February 16th: 2nd Grade
March 22nd: 3rd Grade
April 19th: 4th Grade
May 17th: 5th Grade

Schlitterbahn Waves of Pages
This program is for students in grades K-5. If a student reads AND LOGS 10 or more hours then they may receive a ticket to the Schlitterbahn water park in New Braunfels.
The READING LOG DUE DATE is February 5, 2024.
This is a hard DUE DATE as I have to turn in the logs to the Schlitterbahn Director.
This is an optional program provided by the BCE Library. We are very lucky to be a part of this program - as they take only a select number of schools for registration each year.
