St. John Lutheran School

Mission Statement

St. John Lutheran School exists to nurture children in faith and intellect, equipping them for Christian lives of service.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10

A Slice of “Spiritual Bread” for the Christian Home . . .

“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry,

and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35

Jesus is the reason we have true hope and a blessed eternal future. Jesus is the reason we have true peace each day. Jesus is the reason why Christmas is so special to you and me.

Sad to say, there are many who do not know or believe that Jesus is “The Bread of Life” as he himself declares in this portion of God’s Word. You know those people. They are among extended family, friends, at the soccer field, and at the workplace.

This Christmas will you move out of your comfort zone and “Light a Light for Jesus” as you invite others to a Christmas service here at St. John?

Have a wonderful day and may Jesus always keep you in His care!

With Love in Christ,

Jon Woldt, Principal

Light a Light for Jesus

“Light a Light” for Jesus.

It’s Simple.

It’s Not Financial!

It’s Personal, Loving & Kind.

It’s an Opportunity to Share Our Faith.

It’s an Answer to Jesus’ Call to “Go & Tell.”

As the Word is shared, Blessings are sure to follow.

With God’s Blessings, Let’s Make Christmas 2018 Special.

We need you!

Will you help?

Will you pray?

Continuing this Mission into January!

Lutheran Church in Quezon City, Philippines

Justin Wintrone, Mission Coordinator

Our school mission offerings this year have been supporting Law and Gospel Lutheran Church in Quezon City, Philippines. Today, Pastor Alvien de Guzman from Law and Gospel Church lead us in morning chapel via Skype. He spoke to us about his mission work in the Philippines and answered some of our questions.

Here is a little more information on Law and Gospel Lutheran Church in Quezon City, Philippines. Their pastor, Alvien de Guzman, has been working hard for over four years to spread God’s Word in this region, and the Lord has blessed his efforts. Law and Gospel Church has grown into three separate locations for Pastor de Guzman to preach at. Pastor de Guzman’s prayers for help in his ministry have been answered. He is currently training three men to join him as pastors in the Philippines. Our gifts of money will help these men finish their training and become pastors. Let’s keep Pastor de Guzman, the three pastors-in-training, and Law and Gospel Church in our prayers as they continue to spread God’s Word in the Philippines!

Chapel offerings so far: $798.24
