Summer News

What's been happening......

I hope everyone is getting to enjoy your time off this summer! It's going quickly as usual. Summer school is over, and now we have a few short weeks to make sure that everything is ready for the new year. New textbooks are arriving! The custodians have been hard at work getting the building ready for the 2014-2015 school year! Everything looks great! I'm really looking forward to a super school year!

It sounds like the summer trainings that many of you have attended have been awesome! I was at the Denton Technology In Action Conference and saw many teachers that were super excited about the new things they were learning! Remember to get your certificates and turn them in during our training days.

We are trying something a little different this year. Our first day together will be our workday. Hopefully, that will give everyone a chance to get the classrooms set up first, and be ready to plan and learn on our other days.

Have fun! See you on August 19th!

HOW OUR FRIENDS ARE DOING.....

Betsy Hicks is having a hysterectomy on August 7th at St. Paul at UTSW in Dallas. The doctor is hopeful that the surgery will be all that is needed to get rid of the cancer. They will do the surgery robotically so it will be a quicker recovery. She greatly appreciates everyone's prayers and positive thoughts.

Carrie Stout is getting stronger everyday. She is continuing to do therapy and plans to return when school starts.

Carolyn Jonas' mother is doing better and is out of the hospital!

Thanks so much for all of your prayers!

Pearson Math materials are available online. Go to the website below and you will be sent a school code once you initially log in to the system. You will pick your campus and subject. You should then gain access to the online materials.
