The Avg temp. in Fahrenheit in the Amazon is between 68 to 93 degrees while the sahara is between 86 and 104 degrees. In the amazon there are between 6 to 9 million plants and animals in the Sahara there are 4 million. The rainfall in the amazon is high so it can maintain a higher population while the Sahara has a small amount of rainfall making it harder to maintain a higher population. The temperature and dryness of the Sahara makes it very difficult for the animals while in the amazon it is a little bit easier.
