Avg Rainfall, The Amazon Gets between 50 and 260 in of rainfall each year while the Sahara Desert gets less than 18 in. The Avg temp. in Fahrenheit in the Amazon is between 68 to 93 degrees while the sahara is between 86 and 104 degrees. In the amazon there are between 6 to 9 million plants and animals in the Sahara there are 4 million. The rainfall in the amazon is high so it can maintain a higher population while the Sahara has a small amount of rainfall making it harder to maintain a higher population. The temperature and dryness of the Sahara makes it very difficult for the animals while in the amazon it is a little bit easier.

Amazon Animals, Jaguar,Gorrila,and parrot. Amazon plants, Orchid, Flowers, Mahogny, Mosses, Nut tree. Sahara plants, Palm Trees, Cacti, Gourd. Animals Scorpion, African Wild dog. A lot of these animals are also in competition with their own species for dominance without a dominant animal lots of the animals would die. Plants also compete too for sunlight to stay alive
