MPMS Career Fair
You are invited!
Manassas Park Middle School extends its warmest welcome to have you present at its annual Career Fair. This year’s fair will be held on Friday, April 26th from 7:30 to 11:40 a.m. in our gym. About 800 students in grades 6-8 will talk with presenters stationed at tables with displays. The goal is to help students connect school to work and explore various careers.
Past presenters have really enjoyed talking with our students. For details about the event, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions attachment. If you would like to participate, please sign up by completing the Google form at this link: Career Fair Presenter Registration Form. Participants will receive email confirmation within one week of submitting the registration form.

Career Fair FAQs
When? 7:30 to 11:40 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019
What is the schedule?
7:30-8:00 a.m. Presenters arrive and set up table displays
8:05-11:15 a.m. Students cycle through the gym in 25 minute increments
11:15-11:40 a.m. Presenters clean up and depart
*Students will enter the fair beginning at 8:05 a.m., so we ask that your table area be set up with a display and ready to go by 8:00 a.m.
Where? Manassas Park Middle School Gym

Where do I park? Unload at the bus loop in front of the middle school gym (look for signs), and park in front of the middle school. Please see the campus map in the PDF attachment.
What should I bring? Please bring a small display for your table such as work samples, photos, tools, laptop presentations, uniforms, tri-fold posters, etc. There is some space for objects on the floor or for freestanding signs around the tables. Wireless Internet is provided.
Will there be coffee? Of course! Light refreshments and coffee are provided.
How many students are there? Over the course of the morning, approximately 800 students will visit the fair. Students are in 6th through 8th grades with ages ranging from 11 to 15 years old.
How will the students interact with me? Students receive a worksheet with presenter names and job titles. When they approach your table they will ask you various questions and view your displays. Feel free to pass out information, pens, pencils, etc. to the students.
How do I sign up to present? Please complete the Google form at the link provided in the email invitation. Participants will receive email confirmation within one week of submitting the registration form. Another email with final details will go out the week of April 8th.
