What was it?
The Scientific Revolution was the emergence of modern science during the early modern period.Some important people involved were Isaac Newton, Nicolaus Copernicus, Johannes Kepler, and Galileo Galilei.
Geocentric Theory
The geocentric theory states that the Earth was the center of the universe and everything rotated around Earth. Many of the scientists and philosophers of this time contributed to the spread of this theory.

Galileo Galilei
Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the scientific revolution.
Nicolaus Copernicus
Renaissance mathematician and astronomer who formed a heliocentric model of the universe.
Johannes Kepler
German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer, best known for his laws of planetary motion.
Isaac Newton
English physicist and mathematician who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientist of all time
Scientific Revolutions Impact on Society
The scientific revolution had a big impact on Europe's society because it encouraged education and more people wanted to be mathematicians, philosophers, astrologers,ect. It also changed the society because things that were usually based on religion, were becoming based off science.
Its change in modern society
The scientific revolution impacted modern society in many ways. One way is that it lead to industrialization. Which lead to everything "modern" today. It lead to cars, computers, ect.
