A Call for a Kidney
Are you willing to answer the call?
Courage 2 Give
The need for kidneys continues to outweigh the supply. People such as myself could wait anywhere from 3 to 5 years or more for a deceased donor kidney. However, living donors offer many people the chance to get a kidney in a shorter amount of time - often in months.
If you are willing to answer the call for a kidney and would like to be tested to become a living donor for Pastor Lem Wright, please contact:
Please Call, Mail or Fax your Name, Telephone Number, and Relationship to Lem Wright to the Georgia Regents Kidney Pancreas Transplant Department
Karrie Moyer, RN, CDN
Living Donor Coordinator
1120 15th Street, BA-4407
Augusta, GA 30912
Phone 706-721-8560
Fax 706-721-6271
Remember:
Potential donors will not be evaluated until you are approved as a transplant candidate.
The cost for your donor's evaluation is not charged to the donor if ordered and arranged through the Georgia Regents Transplant Program.
You may also express your interest in becoming a living donor for Pastor Lem Wright by calling Piedmont Hospital at (404) 606-4128. Ask for Barbara
Thank you for your "Courage 2 Give in order to help another person to Live!!"
