Update from AVUHSD
April 22, 2021
Mental Health Resources
After April 30th, the District’s mental health hotline will no longer be available. However, the AVUHSD recognizes the importance of and values the partnership with our parents/guardians. We are dedicated to serve as a bridge by connecting our families with community resources needed to support their mental health needs. If you have any questions regarding available resources please contact the counseling department at your child's school or you may access a comprehensive list of supports HERE.
Tutoring Available
Be sure to take advantage of our free individualized tutoring so that you can end the 20-21 school year well! You can access this service when you login to PowerSchool and click the ‘Resources’ tab and select “The Princeton Review Homework Help”. Hundreds of our students have raised their grades in Math and English and many other classes!
Lancaster High School Hybrid Anatomy
Caleb Parry, Junior at Lancaster High School, completed a sheep’s heart dissection in Ms. Murray’s anatomy class this week. This collaborative lab required the At-School students to take directions on conducting the dissection from their At-Home peers. Our students and teachers are making the most of this hybrid learning experience!
