Magnet Opportunities

Did you know Eldorado High School is the only magnet/CTA in Clark County School District that has the Oculus Rift, ASUS G11 CD high performance gaming PC which has the GTX 980 VR graphics processor unit, and 27" 4K monitor? We also have eSports Competition. Students will compete with local, regional, national, and international gaming teams. EHS is the only school that recognizes eSports as a team sport and eligible students will earn an academic letter.

The Magnet Schools/CTA application for the 2017-2018 school year is open! If you're a freshman who is interested in our wonderful magnet program, go online to fill out an application, or if you have an eighth grade sibling who might be interested be sure to share this with them as well. http://magnet.ccsd.net. The deadline is January 10, 2017 at 3:00 PM.

Feel free to attend our Magnet Open House on Thursday, November 17th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.


College and Financial Aid Night - Wednesday, October 26th

College and Financial Aid Night is Wednesday, October 26 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the library. Representatives from the Millennium Scholarship, Public Education Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Scholarship, UNLV's Financial Aid Office, CSN, UNLV, UNR, Dixie State, Nevada State and Southern Utah will be on hand to discuss what their program has to offer. This is a great opportunity for students and parents to gain valuable information on the college admissions and financial aid process, as well as learn about scholarship opportunities that are available to our students. Students are strongly encouraged to attend with their parents as there is a lot of information that will be discussed.

Blood Drive - November 3rd

United Blood Services will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday, November 3rd. Students must be 17 years old and have a signed permission slip to participate.
