How The Boston Massacre Started

The quartering act led to the Boston massacre on March 5th, 1770. The colonists were protesting on the quartering act. the colonists through sticks, stones, ice, and snowballs at the soldiers. Then the British soldiers fired at them.

Paul Revere: warned the British about firing at unarmed colonist.

Samuel Adams: Sent letters to other colonist to make an outrage.

Mercy Otis Warren: Published plays about the British.

Patrick Henry: Gave speeches in the Virginia house of Burgess against the British.
