World Read Aloud Day
World Read Aloud Day is this Thursday, February 1, 2018. Some classes are doing activities on days in addition to that date.
Please register your class for World Read Aloud Day at http://www.litworld.org/wrad, and begin the planning process for how your grade level/classroom will observe the day.
Thanks to those who have registered their class for this special event. Go to PUE Participants to see what other grade levels have signed up to do and complete the google form on what your grade level will be doing. Also, when you REGISTER for the World Read Aloud Day, pay particular attention to the number of schools and locations across the world that are participating! You can find simple lesson ideas that celebrate reading and writing on the website, and our PUE Global Committee has come up with a list of ideas and resources to help you get started. Please feel free to add resources and ideas to our ongoing list! Mr. Biles will do a Read-Aloud story on Thursday to kick off our celebration of the event.
Be sure to tag your Tweet #WorldReadAloud & #PUEGlobal so that classrooms around the world see the great things that you are doing.
In addition to your classroom activities, Mr. Biles will kick off the event with a Read Aloud Story on Thursday's WPAW.
