New Semester
Hello Raider Nation --
Tomorrow is the end of the second marking period and a three hour early dismissal day. This is also a telework day. The second semester begins on Tuesday. There are several items happening this week that will impact our daily routine. First, MISA (Maryland Integrated Science Assessment) testing will occur Tuesday and Wednesday for selected juniors. As a result there will be NO Raider Time this week. This Friday, February 1, Larry Cohen will be at Atholton to deliver his monthly message. Also this Friday, I am so pleased to announce that Cherise Petty will be returning to Atholton. Please be sure to give her a big WELCOME BACK!
As we transition to the new Frontline Absence system, we have noticed that there are several individuals who have not reconciled their Smartfind and Workday absences. Please make sure you have completed this professional responsibility ASAP. Also, just a reminder that the new system will be begin this Thursday, January 31.
Lastly, the latter part of this week (Wednesday – Friday) I will be heading to Washington to work with students on behalf of the National Association of Secondary School Principals. The student leadership and youth engagement conference will hold a briefing on Capitol Hill where I will serve as moderator. Info below. I am thrilled the Atholton HS JROTC Color Guard will open the conference.
See you tomorrow!
Robert
