REMINDERS
- Thank you to the staff members who consistently monitor students during transitions. We still have several areas that aren't getting monitored. Please remember that it is our expectation that all teachers are visible in the hallways during passing periods and transitions. This is particularly important during lunch times as many students linger in the halls unattended at that time.
- Please keep students in your classroom during instructional time as much as possible. We are seeing far too many students in the halls during class which means they are missing valuable instruction and learning opportunities. Student trips to the restroom, lockers and office should be done during passing periods as much as possible.
GOOD THINGS
- A BIG thank you to everyone for doing their part to get our new intervention program up and running. We appreciate your flexibility and value your feedback and suggestions. We are currently serving between 60 and 80 students in interventions on any given day. Every minute counts. Thank you for making better use of our students' morning minutes!
- Congratulations to the LHR UIL academic contest participants for their performance at Friday's UIL meet in Melissa. Thank you to Mrs. Richardson for coordinating UIL events and to the coaches for preparing our students for competition. Specific results information will be coming soon.
