An Introduction to the Islamic Religion
Jews (followers of Judaism) go to their Synagogues to listen to their Rabbi speak words from the Tanakh (Holy Book). Abraham is a common figure to the Jews because he is said to be a prophet. Jersualem is a holy city for the Jews because it holds the Wailing Wall, where Jews believe that they are very close to God. Some beliefs that Jews have are that they should study the Torah, follow Jewish teachings, follow the Lord's laws, pray, and do their Sabbath every week. Some traditions/sacraments are that when at boy/girl turn 13 they have Mitzvah, eating only eat Kosher foods, and to follow Commandments of Jewish law. Jews believe that there is only one god. They call him Yahweh. Yom Kippur, Passover, Hanukkah, and Rosh Hashanah are some holidays for Jews.
