IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 6TH GRADE FOR 2022 -2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Students entering 6th grade require additional immunizations by the State of Indiana. Required immunizations are as follows:
Tdap: Tetanus-diphtheria-acellular pertussis vaccine
MCV4: Meningococcal conjugate vaccine
A child that is 11 years old may be immunized well before school starts in August. The nursing department recommends making an appointment with your health care provider or the Health Department in advance and providing the school nurse with your child’s immunization record as soon as possible.
