Higher Education in Western New York

St John Fisher College

Once I had worked for a few years and determined that teaching was the field I wanted to dedicate my life to, I attended St John Fisher Graduate School of Education from 2004-2007. I graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in both Childhood Education Grades 1-6 and Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6. I passed all the NYS Teaching Assessments as seen under the State Certificates tab and received my Initial Certificate in both general and special education grades 1-6. I have since received my professional certification in both areas.

State University of New York at Geneseo

I attended SUNY Geneseo from 1998-2002. I majored in psychology because I have a love for science and human behavior. I also minored in biology and anthropology because all these fields are related to science, human behavior, thinking, and learning. Ultimately these studies led me to become a teacher. I believe this background assists me today in understanding how adults and students think and learn.
