Week of February 13th
Hello Families,
There will be no winter sports tomorrow due to conditions. We will try again if there is snow on Friday, March 3rd. Next week is Winter Break, February 20th-February 24th. School will reopen on Monday, February 27th at 7:50 AM. Enjoy the break!
Grade 5/6 Nutrition Unit
The 5/6 class has completed a unit on nutrition. They have worked as teams to collaborate, create and support each other. The groups organised and made presentations on their learning to each of the classrooms. As a cumulative project all classes were invited to the 5/6 classroom where the students assisted each student to compile a collection of beans and spices to take home to make soup to share with their families. Attached to each soup bag there is one of six students' designed informational fliers with instructions and nutritional information.
Enjoy!
