Thank you!
We want to thank all the parents, grandparents and siblings of the 4th and 5th Graders that were able to join us for our Christmas Lunch. We appreciated the time you took out of your day to promote parent involvement. We would love it if you left some feedback, in our comments section below, on how we can make the lunch better for the other grades.
Also, a big congratulations to VanHooser Family and Amaya Family for being the winners of the delicious Christmas ham.
Kindergarten Luncheon
Our Christmas Luncheon for our 4th and 5th Grade families was a great success with a total of 110 parents, grandparents and siblings being present. For the Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students we are planning to have separate luncheons.
- Please be on the look out for our Kindergarten Luncheon coming up in February.
Cold weather is here!
Please remember to send your child to school with a coat, hat, and gloves to wear outside. Although snow pants and snow boots are not required, they are recommended as students can not play in the snow without them. Students will still go outside for recess as long as the temperature is 20 degrees or higher and the wind chill is 10 degrees or above. Recess usually runs for about 15-20 minutes.

Illness Guidelines
Do not send your child to school of any of the following are present:
- Temperature above 99.6 degrees
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- A rash that is oozing
- Red eyes with drainage not associated with allergies
Children with fever, vomiting, or diarrhea should not return to school until 24 hours after the last episode. Children who return to school before that time may be sent home immediately. If your child is being treated with an antibiotic by mouth, eye drops, or ointment, please wait until he/she has been on the medication for at least 24 hours before sending him/her back to school.
Please contact the school, email your child’s teacher or send a note every time that your child is absent. We keep careful track of attendance and will mark your child as unexcused if we do not hear from you.
Please keep the school updated with your contact information throughout the year. Few things are worse than having a sick or injured child and no way to contact a parent or guardian.
