INDUSTRIAL REVOUTION
The industrial revolution was were adults and children had worked long hours and got paid very little. The workers worked in factories and in mines. Machines started popping up every were now that they had the steam engine and did not have to be on a river. They were finally able to do mass production.
Where did it start?
The industrial revolution started in Great Britain.

They used the stem engine so they did not have to be near a river.

James Watt invented the steam engine in 1765 so factories would not have to be near a river to get power from water wheel.

CHILD LABOR AND WORKING CONDTIONS DURING THE INDUSTRIAL REVOUTION

During the industrial revolution child could work in factories and mines. Some kids would be hurt or even killed at work. Sometimes they would only get paid a penny. It was not illegal for child to work during this time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions were horrible and the workers got paid very little. They could get black lung from working in mines. Some children would get killed or even wounded. They only would get paid a penny a day. They worked long hard hours. They started from early morning to late at night. The workers would hid the children workers after it became illegal to have child labor. They would not stop the machines to let children clean the gears
