Secondary Education & Career Aspirations

I'm studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, in hope of graduating as a Primary School Teacher. I began my studies in 2015 and completed a foundation year before beginning my degree. I should have a total of five years at university and should graduate in 2020. This is a career path that I have always wanted to take and I am excited for what the future holds for me as a teacher.

I attended five different schools in my life, but graduated at Kolbe Catholic College in 2014. Whilst I attended this school I upheld many leadership roles within the school community. Including; School councillor twice, peer support leader, and sport captain. I graduated with three certificates; Cert II in sport and recreation, Cert II in sampling and measuring, and Cert II in business.

I have achieved in both aspects of education and sports. In 2009 I was selected Junior Mayor of Rockingham out of all the schools in Rockingham. In this role I ran council meetings and passed agendas along to the higher council chambers. I also represented my school Kolbe in a netball tour in Queensland, where I won the Melissa Baxter Memorial Award back to back. As well as this I also represented both the Coastal region for netball and also played State League Netball for the South East Demons in 2013.

Sporting is a huge interest of mine as well as a passion. Netball, tennis, rugby, basketball etc. are all sports that I have played and enjoy. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

My present goals are to finish my degree and graduate university with a Bachelor of Primary Education, and to go travelling all around the world.
