Compliment Circles
We start each class meeting with a compliment to one another. Our feet start off in the circle then when we receive a compliment we tuck our feet up to our chin so we know who still needs a compliment. It is important that everyone hears something nice about themselves.
Buddies
Our buddies came down during writing and listened to our published stories. They wrote something nice on the back cover!
See Saw
We started working with the app called See Saw. Today we just explored all the different tools on it. We have several projects lined up that we will share with you when they are completed.
Social Studies
We are learning about map skills and one way to read a map is how it was printed--bird's eye view or eye level.
We took off our shoe and sketched it at eye-level.
Social Studies
Then we drew a picture of our shoe from a bird's eye view. Maybe we should have done this before recess from the plugged noses!
Social Studies
We wrapped up our unit on being a good citizen by making a chain. We wrote one way that we will remember to be a good citizen which we figured out means to be kind to one another.
Top Dog -Dieynaba
Dieynaba's favorite animal is a puppy and she loves to eat pizza. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She is pawsome at gymnastics and dancing.
