DCPS HONOR CHOIR APPLICATION DUE OCT 14th!
Uniform, Rehearsal & Day of Performance Information
All Groups will wear the Casual Uniform for the Fall Concert:
- Mandarin Music Makers T-shirt (New Students & Students who specified needing a new shirt will receive their T-shirts prior to the concert)
- Jeans (no holes of any kind)
- Nice Shoes (dress shoes/ sneakers are okay as long as they are closed toe.)
REHEARSAL:
There will be a morning rehearsal on Friday, 10/21/22 at 8:00 AM sharp
- In the auditorium
- Enter through the bus rider parking lot
INFORMATION:
Call for Students is at 6:00 PM
- All students should arrive in uniform and enter through the auditorium side door
Fall Concert ~Flower Sale~
The Mandarin Music Makers will be selling carnations before the concert and during intermission. All proceeds benefit the Mandarin Music Makers and the Performing Arts programs at Mandarin Middle School.
Carnations- (1) Flower for $2.00 or (3) Flowers for $5.00

12th Annual Jacksonville Sings! Honor Chorus Invitational
Congratulations to the MMS Mandarin Music Makers who were invited to participate in the 12th Annual JaxSings! Chorus Invitational!

The event was held at UNF in the Lazzara Performance Hall, on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The UNF Chamber Singers, UNF Percussion Ensemble and over 100 young choristers joined their voices to sing works by composers such as Andrea Ramsey and Coty Raven-Morris.

2022-2023 Music Lab Fees
Each student is responsible for their Music Lab Fee $40.
This fee covers the purchase of music, supplies, uniform, transportation, special event food, fees, incentives, piano tuning, masks, etc.
Please note:
Fundraising is an optional way to pay for the lab fee

Tri-M Honor Society
What is Tri-M?
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is an NAfME program that recognizes outstanding music students in secondary level school. Tri-M activities increase students' school and community involvement with music. Tri-M members are selected based on their academic and musical achievement as well as on their strength of character.
