SER-UW has some exciting events coming up this month! We would love to see be a part of them!

House Keeping Work Party-December 4th-10AM-1PM

Come join us as we take care of some housekeeping in our nursery! Keeping track of 800 pots is not the easiest of tasks, and we really appreciate any help you can give!

We will be meeting at 10AM at the turn around in front of the DRC (Feel free to refer to the map), but feel free to meet us in our headhouse any time before 1PM if you need to!

Though we will be working inside this week, please bring attire that can tolerate some rainy weather. As always, snacks and all equipment necessary will be provided, and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have at We can't wait to see you soon, and thank you for your help!


King County Plant Salvage-December 5th-8:00AM

SER UW will be pairing up with King County's Native Plant Salvage on December 5th, salvaging plants from a development site in Snoqualmie!

Native Plant Potting Party-December 7th-9AM-12PM

The plants we will be salvaging at the King County Plant Salvage (Please see above!) will quickly be needing new homes in our nursery! This is where you can come in to help us place all of our new plants into pots for safe growing. If you would like to be a part of this process, we will be meeting at the turn around in front of the DRC (feel free to refer to the map) at 9AM, and moving to our headhouse from there. If only available after 9AM, feel free to meet us in the headhouse any time before 12PM! All necessary equipment will be provided, as well as snacks, but please do come dressed in weather appropriate attire! SER-UW Internship Applications Due-December 11th

The Native Plant Nursery is looking to take on 2 interns for winter quarter. Possible foci include: Building projects, Communications, Plant Orders, and Work Party Coordination.
If you are interested send a resume and a 300-500 word description of why you are interested BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11th.
