Keep your eyes peeled for a cool literacy program from the PTA connected to the Book Fair (which begins 11/15!).

Tuesday 11/16 is Virtual STEM+Families night, sponsored by PTA, FRC and Title 1 with grant money from Bayer. The program is a "pick-up" program, the night of the program you will stop by the school to pick up a pizza from Hometown LaGrange and a 'kit' that contains the ingredients for 4 cool experiments! There will be a video you can watch from home to do the experiments! Get your RSVP in ASAP!!, there are only 100 kits total so the first rsvps in are the ones who will get to participate. As of yesterday we had 73 kids already signed up - turn yours in first thing next week!

Saturday 12/4, 7-10am, is our annual Breakfast with Santa at Hometown Pizza in LaGrange! It is a PTA program run thanks to 5th grade helpers. Mark your calendars - more details to come.

LES PTA could use your help. Our Winter Wonderland will be coming up in December. This is a special secret suprise to our students. We are in need of several decorations to transform the school into a special Winter Wonderland. An Amazon wish list created has be created of decorations that are desired. Any generosity is greatly appreciated.

The PTA Board Meeting will be held on Thursday Nov 11 at 7pm. If you are interested in attending please email for more details.

If you haven't already, follow our LaGrange Elementary PTA Facebook page for what's happening with the PTA and LES!

Cub Scouts

Next Cub Scouts meeting is this Tues 11/9, 6:30pm, LaGrange Presbyterian Church on Prestwick Drive. We are planning Scouting for Food, a community service activity, and hopefully a cold-weather hike! It's for boys & girls in K-5th grades. Come see what it's all about, contact our Cub Master Jeff Springer at for details.

5th Grade Families

If there is a 5th grade parent who can organize an online Texas Roadhouse gift card sale to benefit the 5th graders end-of-year activities please contact Jess Springer ( asap for details. At this point, without someone to run it, we won't be having this fundraiser.

Girl's Basketball

Girls' Basketball games begin 11/12 (11/5 is a skill session for the players so we won't have concessions). Basketball concessions is a 5th grade fundraiser! We need adults and students for each game. (There are 4 teams so all teams will play on each date). To sign up to help with concessions:
