Book Fair Begins Tomorrow! See below for more information and Dress up for each day!
All For Books:
Every Tusculum View Book Fair purchase is rounded up to the nearest dollar- no coin change is given to shoppers. This change goes into a fund in the register that is spent AT our book fair. We use this fund to:
- help cover any student that comes up just a little short on tax- this happens often, but we want them to get as much as they can with the money they brought in, so using the All for Books fund is very helpful!
- gift shopping certificates to deserving students
- gift shopping certificates to teachers for their classroom library
*If you would like to donate to this fund, send money to your teacher in a sealed envelope labeled “All for Books- Book Fair donation”. We will make sure your donation is put to good use to benefit our students and teachers!
Teacher Wish Lists:
- Donate a book to your classroom library! These books are used and treasured for years. We will add a label inside the front cover showing that your child donated the book to their classroom.
- If you visit during one of our Family Shopping Nights, you will see a basket of books with your teacher’s name on it. You can purchase one of these books from their wishlist.
- If you are not visiting in person, your child can bring their teacher a sealed envelope with money and a note asking them to purchase a book from their wishlist! Your teacher will shop at the Book Fair and we will send you a photo of your child with their gift to their teacher!
Remeber Daylight Savings time ended Sunday, November 7th. That's today! Remember to set your clocks back ONE HOUR.

Thank you for your incredible support this past week! Let's see how much more we can show our appreciation to our veterans!
Info about VFW:
VFW HISTORY
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces.
The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service.
Many arrived home wounded or sick. There was no medical care or veterans' pension for them, and they were left to care for themselves.
