Principal's Message
Hello Patriots,
Congratulations to all our seniors this past Friday during their graduation. We had many memorable speakers with lifelong messages we can apply beyond high school. Thank you to all the teachers who participated and honored the Class of 2022. A special thanks to our administrative team, custodians and Mrs. Wentzel who helped with the logistics and set up almost 2000 chairs and made the night special.
To the Class of 2022 ---- May all your dreams come true.
Freshman, Sofphmore, Junior Final Exam Schedule
2022 Final Exams & End of Year Information
Final exams are a critical component of our academic year, requiring excellent effort on the part of our students. In full-year courses, the exam counts approximately 10% of the final grade. There are no final exams for semester courses this year. The exam schedule is as follows:
Students only need to be in school if they have an exam scheduled for the period. There is no need to report to Learning Center periods.
- Students who do not have an exam must wait in the cafeteria or exit the building.
- A student must show up and make an honest effort on the final exam in order to get credit for the course.
- Permission from an administrator, at least three school days prior to the exam, is required to take an exam outside of the scheduled period. Requests, including the reason for the change, must be on an “Exam Make-Up Request Form” located in the main office and must be signed by a parent/ guardian. Forms should be dropped off to the main office well in advance of the scheduled exam. Upon review, the student will receive a copy of the form (approved or not approved) and the teacher will be notified.
- Students must remain in the exam room for the entire length of the exam period. No one in the halls! The main office will not disturb exams by calling into classrooms for phone call dismissals.
- A full complement of buses will be available Monday thru Thursday at 10:50. There are no buses (am or pm) on Friday, June 17 (make-up day).
- The After School program ends on June 10th.
- The last Little Compton late bus will be on June 10th. There are no late buses during exam week.
- Advisory period will not meet on exam days.
- Final grades will be available in Aspen. Report cards are not mailed home.
- Lockers must be cleaned out by June 17th. PHS is not responsible for items left in lockers.
- All books must be returned or paid for and students must meet all obligations, such as detentions, return of sports uniforms, library fines, lunch balances, etc.
- Students will not be able to participate in extracurricular activities next year, including sports or clubs, until they have resolved all obligations.
- In addition, students will not be allowed to get a parking permit until they have cleared their obligations.
- Obligations remain on your student account and must be cleared before a student graduates.
