Hugs! Thanking Those that Soar!

Thank you, awesome staff, for stepping it up Monday morning on neighborhood patrol. I appreciate your selflessness in putting kids first!

A HUGE thank you to Kim Vernon and her husband Lee for stepping up to take a First Lego League Team! Had this not happened, we would have had to collapse a team or kill the program.

From Katie and Anne: Thank you, Kevin, for serving as an accountability partner for one of our friends and for giving us a helping hand with some of our other friends!

Thank you, Sarah, for already starting guidance lessons in classrooms! You've adapted quickly, and we appreciate your enthusiasm!I

Thank you, Kevin and Kyndall, for getting our flags up and down until we get Stuco going.

Thank you, Toni, for agreeing to be our new Student Council sponsor. You are wonderful!

CLUBS! clubs! CLUBS! clubs!

We need club sponsors! Have an idea for a club? Let's talk about it! The same people are stretched so far with all the extra time they put in for student or campus services. It's time to share the wealth! Readers Theater? Chess? A Service Club? I'm sponsoring one, so you can too! One day in the near future, I'll be knocking on your door with a big smile on my face!

Up and Coming

As we move forward as a PLC campus, I will be sharing important data with you for you to review, reflect, and use to make plans. The expectation is that in addition to your lesson planning, that you PLC your student data at least one day a week. Though many of you may have only 22 to 25 students attached to your name, it is critical that we understand, they are all OUR kids. We have already explored and examined the effect of when students begin the new school year below grade level. Working collectively horizontally, vertically, and as a team of 60, we can eliminate this problem. Jana and I are here to support, help, encourage, and do whatever it takes to assist you. You are an amazing staff and I am so excited and blessed to work along side you as we meet our challenges head on. This is going to be an incredible year!
