Little Lost Robot
Seth and Brenden
Dystopia: Technological Control
Robots are being made to do jobs that are hard for humans to do. It is shown through this quote that robots are being put in dangerous jobs and they try to explain to the robots that they're not too dangerous. "Our men work with hard radiations a good deal, you see. It’s dangerous, of course, but reasonable precautions are taken. There have been only two accidents since we began and neither was fatal." Pg. 73-74
Theme
The theme that the author is trying to put through, is that robots would take things too literally and would do things that could be potentially harmful.
Static Character
The robot that got lost is a static character because he was programed to obey humans unless the command is to hurt others. After he gets lost, he does not learn from it.
