Nazareth Christian Fellowship
Offerings for the week of March 25
Chaplain chat at 2pm and Bible Study today at 3pm!
Hello everyone,
So today marks one week of sheltering at home. It has felt like one of the longest weeks I have ever lived through. Despite the struggle to adjust to the new normal, there have been some really lovely positives.
- time with my family
- time with my new cat, Quara (for "quarantine")
- working in the comfort of my house
- time to cook and clean
- opportunities to catch up with many of you
I'm trying to identify the so-called silver linings in each day. Some days are easier than others. But even in the midst of anxiety and fear, there is beauty. I don't want to minimize the extraordinary time we are living in. One day the next generation will learn about COVID-19 and what we all did for the benefit of one another. As a popular meme that is going around right now says, "I'm tired of living through historical times."
As you all settle into your new normal, maybe you're a little weary of living through these times. We are all going through this together. And as hard as this is, there are ways in which we can catch glimpses of God's presence with us everyday, even if it's only in moments of realizing what we have previously taken for granted.
As always, don't hesitate to reach out. You can schedule a one-on-one meeting with me here: https://forms.gle/MSZDmqyGPHE3pex58, or through email.
Today at 2pm, hop on zoom for a chaplain hangout time. We will chat, check in, and spend some time simply hanging out. The link for both of those is: https://naz.zoom.us/j/4928777096. I hope to see you at one or both!
Sending you love from greater than 6 feet away,
Nadia
