International Night
Our school classrooms were transformed into international and domestic countries featuring ancestries and nationalities of our students. Students and their families received a passport which was stamped while visiting each country. Each classroom offered a food tasting, an authentic activity and decoration from the host country. It was truly a display of students learning fascinating cultures from around the world! There was a array of food from all corners of the world.
The night was a direct representation of the diversity within our school. Enjoy the pictures and we look forward to seeing you all again at next years International Night.
Smile mile
Dear OSCS Parents,
Our school will be participating for the second time in the Smile Mile. It is a 1 mile race for elementary students from schools around Central Florida. Last year we had 72 students that entered the race and we won 1st prize in the Osceola County. The organizers are giving a $500 grant to the school with the most participants so we hope to win again, that way we can buy equipment for the Physical Education Program.
The entry fee is only $8.00 and each student will receive a T-shirt and a medal for participating. Also, each student from our school that enters the race will get a bonus grade for the Physical Education Class.
To enter the race please print and fill the form attached to this letter, bring it to the school’s front office in an envelope with the $8.00 dollars.
Any questions or additional information feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Juan Revelles
Physical Education Teacher

Osceola Science Home Visit Program
Dear Families,
We would like to announce about our Osceola Science Home Visit Program. According to the research, Parent Teacher Home Visits are a fast, replicable strategy for engaging families, educators and students as a team. They are a very effective way to build trust and form a relationship between parents, teachers and students. An established partnership will make it easier for you, and us, to make necessary changes to ensure your child’s academic and social success.
Your child’s teachers will be invited to the visits as they are scheduled and they will participate if they are available.
Please complete the form below if you are interested in hosting a Home Visit.
