Fire Fighting Program
As we begin planning schedules for next year, keep in mind the following information if you are interested in joining the Fire Academy:
Fire Science Parent Information Night
Wednesday, Feb. 5th @ 6:30 PM
NCTC Gainesville – Health Science Center Rm. 2410
Any incoming junior that is even slightly considering the program should attend the meeting. Attendance is mandatory for anyone who will enroll, and they must bring a parent. There is a large amount of information that we must go over and we need to ensure that students and parents are making an informed decision prior to registering.

ASVAB Is Coming Back To Sanger High School!
While the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is an assessment developed by the military, it does NOT mean that you are required to join the military upon taking the exam. The ASVAB is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world that measures your strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success.
The ASVAB will be given to ALL juniors unless they opt OUT. Any sophomore or senior may register to take the ASVAB if they are interested in doing so.
Juniors with last names A - L already sat for the ASVAB on Friday, November 15th. However, if they missed that opportunity and are interested in taking the ASVAB, they may join the Juniors with last names M - Z who will sit for the ASVAB on Friday, January 31st.
Opting out must be completed by students using their school email addresses.
Remember, all juniors will be taking the ASVAB unless they opt-out. See below:
