Big picture

Training Exercises at the High School

Our local Public Safety Agencies will be performing training exercises at the high school on Saturday and Sunday. Multiple agencies will be present to train.

Grade 4 - 95.76%

Grade 5 - 97.14%

Total 96.49%

Our goal is 98%. We are up from last week. Let's try to reach this goal. Fifth grade is almost there!

Counselors Corner

Lago Vista ISD utilizes Monthly Viking Character Traits as a focal point for our character education program. Our Viking Character Traits give students the opportunity to focus on one character trait each month. Through lessons and learning activities, students understand the value of character and how it applies to life situations in school and at home. The character trait for the month of December is caring.

It's that time of year, again! Keep those precious 2018-19 memories alive for your child with our second annual Lago Vista Intermediate School Yearbook. They are only $20 and are available for purchase online:

School Code: 13169319

Paper order forms are available in the front office, and they went home in Wednesday Folders last week.

We exceeded our goal of 95 books sold last year, and would love to see that happen again! Our goal this year is 100. Help us to reach our sales goal and raise valuable funds towards your student's education.

LV ISD and LV Blue Santa

We are currently collecting food, gift cards and unwrapped toys for our local Blue Santa Program. Please drop items off in the office. All items will be picked up December 17th. They are in need of items that tweens and teens would enjoy for the holidays.

Lago Vista ISD uses StayALERT to help keep our schools safe. StayALERT is a bilingual, confidential website, e-mail, phone and texting avenue for students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to be able to confidentially report unsafe behaviors, suspicious activities, bullying, acts of violence, harassment, and a host of other potential disruptors to school safety.

Users may anonymously report concerns 24-7-365 via the StayALERT website, an e-mail, a phone call to a recorded and monitored line, or via a text message from a cell phone. Photos and video clips pertaining to the StayALERT report may be included. No special app required! Reportable information will be forwarded in a timely manner to a pre-designated school official for review.
