Thank you so much for all your help throughout this fundraiser. We couldn't do this without your support and this entire community!

At our Booster Bashes today, students had so much fun dancing and playing games!

My favorite has to be the silly string battles between a student from each homerooms vs. NAMS staff. Students also competed in 3 different Minute-to-Win-it! Challenges for prizes.

We raised a little more than our goal of $35,000 for a new electronic sign, after school programming, and resources for our teachers.🤯

This will directly impact our students and staff! Thank you all so very much!!!

The NAMS Health Office requires permission and the most current medical history information in order to provide health care to your student at school.

A message was sent about 2 weeks ago and we received 293 responses so we are still looking for more than 70% of our families to respond.

On October 31, this email was sent to all families/guardians with an important request for updated health information for all NAMS students. This information needs to be updated by this Friday, November 17, 2023.

Due to changes to our forms we require important health information and guardian consent for your student. You may have completed the health forms in the past or even earlier this year but due to the change in forms we are asking all North Andover Middle School parents to complete these forms again.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it is essential that we have this information each year. Because health information is constantly changing, moving forward, we will be requesting that these forms be completed annually.

To complete the forms:

1. Go to naps.powerschool.com

2. Login to PowerSchool using a guardian login account. Student logins will not work.

3. On the left choose Forms

4. Complete 1-Medical Authorizations & 2-Health Information

Please complete these forms before Friday, November 17th.

North Andover’s 2024 Project 351 Ambassador

Project 351 is a non-profit organization that empowers a youth-led movement for change powered by an eighth grade student representing every city and town in Massachusetts.

Each year our Grade 8 teachers nominate 2 students for this honor. Each student then completes an application that is then reviewed by Grade 8 staff and administration. The following students were nominated this year: Anna Consoli, Parker Dubman, Alex Havemeyer, William Thomas, Delia Rochette, & Meghan Peters.

At a luncheon last week with grade 8 staff and students, we announced this year’s Project 351 Ambassador - Alex Havemeyer!

On January 13, 2024 Alex will unite with Ambassadors and Alumni mentors for Project 351’s 14th annual Launch and Service Day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & Coretta Scott King. Launch Day kicks-off 12 months of leadership development through unifying service, Alumni mentorship, and enrichment through Project 351’s Service Leadership Academy.

Private High School or Technical High School - Application Process

We understand the importance of finding the right school for your child and will support them throughout this process. If your child is planning on applying to a private high school or technical high school we ask that you familiarize yourself with our process and requirements using the link below. The PROCESS & REQUIREMENTS may be found here.

Please have your child fill out the STUDENT INFORMATION SHEET found here and provide a copy to your child's guidance counselor as well as any teacher who is writing a recommendation. This information is incredibly helpful as our wish is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of your child's strengths, accomplishments and overall skill set.

We ask parents and students to research private high schools on their own. The guidance department does not provide information or applications regarding private high schools; however, we will assist your child by writing recommendations and sending all supporting documents. For online recommendations, the guidance department completes the "school report" (i.e. principal/counselor recommendation and transcript form). Personal and Special Interest recommendations are generally completed by someone other than the guidance counselor.

Please Note: Trimester 1 ends on December 1, 2023 which means that transcripts cannot be uploaded prior to this date. All private/technical school applications that have been given to Ms. Chute will be uploaded when transcripts are available. We will make every effort to upload your child's applications by the identified due date.

You may find the schedule for November 23rd here and also pasted below. It will be a Day 1 and students will only be attending their RA1 classes this day. Students can walk or run in the Turkey Trot. There will be prizes for top finishers and for best costumes.
