Africa: Loss in Soil
Nutrition in the soil has made farming harder
Nutrition loss accelerates deforestation
Right now Africa's soil is less fertile than the soil found on ther continents. Because of low soil productivites slash and burn has been used, which leads to deforestation. That is making the forests smaller and destroying animal habitats
Angola and their enviormental issues
The water gets polluted and the soil around the lakes and rivers get eroded. Usually the problem is made from humans and nature. For example the water will slowly erode the soil on the sides and take the nutrients with it. This makes farming harder and forests smaller.
With your help we can stop this!
Farming tools
With your money we will be able to get tools and resources for new farming methods. ( terracing, geo blocks etc)
Education
We will be able to educate Africans about best ways to keep the soil fertile.
Irrigation systems
We will build a new irrigation system for less erosion to happen.
