As we prepare for the 2020-21 school year, I want to thank you ahead of time for your patience as we work to develop plans for the upcoming school year. You, our students, and all the staff at LBMS have done an extraordinary job adjusting to Pirates Learn@Home as we closed out the 2019-20 school year in the midst of a pandemic. We will continue to monitor developments while also focusing on the beginning of a new school year's activities, how the future will look, and how we will return to the classrooms. Our administrative team has spent the summer reviewing and planning to ensure the safety of our students.

We will continue to make decisions based on the health and safety of our students and staff and be prepared to follow guidance issued by health experts, our school board, and superintendent. Since we don't know what the state of the virus will be at the time of the first day of school, we must be prepared to offer options for Orientation and Open House. The options we are presenting to you are subject to change and we will adjust as the circumstances warrant.

Throughout it all, our goal is to allow you the opportunity to attend Open House and Orientation prior to the start of the school year while keeping everyone safe. Our partnership is vital to the success and safety of students and their educational outcomes.

How will your child attend school?

*This survey was sent earlier and only needs to be filled out if you have NOT submitted one yet.

Lubbock-Cooper ISD will offer a traditional, in-class format and a virtual, at-home learning format. We are requesting your input to determine the percentage of students who plan to participate in each format. Please read through and complete the survey listed below to indicate your family's school plan. Please complete one survey per enrolled child. (Note: Completing the survey is not a commitment to a specific learning format. We are only asking for your current plan, and we understand that your response may change as your household's situation evolves.)
