PTO and Vacations

Did you know we have a PTO? Interested in helping out? Please see Ms. LeAndra or Ms. Alisha.

Who do you contact concerning vacation credit? Please email Mr. Mike at

Fall is with us!

As the weather changes, be sure your kiddo has weather appropriate clothing; hats, gloves, jackets/coats, and proper shoes. Thank you so much!!

Picture Day!!

Picture Day will be November 19th and November 21st. Siblings will be photographed on the same date and we will let you know what your child's date is closer to time. The theme will be a traditional and a holiday background option. If your kiddo isn't normally here either day you can still bring them to get their picture taken if you would like. We will start pictures at 9am. We are going with TeddyBear Portraits based on parent vote. Pictures are ordered the same day of picture day. If you order digital copies, you will receive them the night they are taken and if you order prints, they will be in by the 1st of December. To receive all photos digitally will be around $70. We will be sending out flyers soon with more info. We will also taking parent helpers as volunteers. If your interested let us know!

Ornaments with Grandparents... what is it???

Its a chance for grandparents or a family representative to join their favorite tot spotter in the class to make an ornament! Each set of grandparents will receive their own ornament! When the time comes closer, we will ask that you tell us how many sets of grandparents will be here and we will figure out a time closer to the date :) Be on the look out on the app regarding specific time!

In the Classroom!

Hello Hello!! This month is going to be a blast!! We have so much to look forward to with our zoophonics friends, Thanksgiving, and Grandparents day coming up! We are going to be focusing on talking out the weather changing and why the colors of the leaves change! The focus this month is to work on the sound of our letters as well as writing our letters! We are so excited to start the holidays up and if you have any special celebrations that you celebrate with your family, let us know because we would love to get to know you and your family more.

  • Remind Me App: It's a free app that we're using to for simple reminders like show and share, friend of the week, physical due dates, etc. Our class code is 26kh9g

Operation Tot Spot gives back!!

We are teaming up with Scholastic and participating in a pajama drive. We are collecting until December 5th.

The boxes will be in all the classrooms for the pj's to go in. The class with the most pajamas donated per child will win a cool prize for their class! Adult sizes will be worth 2 points!

Who are the pajamas and books helping?

The pajamas and books are helping at-risk children (ages 0–18) throughout the country. Often homeless, in foster care, or in poverty, their unstable, uncertain lives make them uniquely vulnerable as bedtime approaches. Each night, millions of children in this country have no bed to call their own—let alone pajamas to change into or books to escape into—and so they have no concept of a loving bedtime. The treasured ritual of changing into clean pajamas and tucking in with an enchanting bedtime story are unknown; some of these children, in fact, have never heard of pajamas

What pajama sizes are needed the most?

Although Pajama Program accepts new pajamas in all sizes, the most overlooked ones are generally children’s sizes 8 to adult 3XL. It is often the bigger, older children who are left out.

What kinds of pajamas should I collect?

New pajamas only.

Pajamas should be a complete set—a top and bottom, or an appropriate nightgown.

Pajamas for all seasons, but especially warm, cozy ones to help the children on our list during the long, cold months at this time of year.

School is back and so is Scholastic! Thank you for all of your continuing support with buying books! Our code is HQ686

Why Do Leaves Change Color?

It's fall! The leaves are changing color. Learn about the magical process of how leaves change their color with this Let's-Read-and-Find-Out picture book.

Graceful text and simple, fun diagrams help introduce concepts like photosynthesis and the different types of leaves. This book also includes simple activities to do with leaves, like leaf rubbings. Both the text and art were expert-vetted for accuracy.

  • Remember there is a suggestion box in the lobby, and we love to hear about ideas to enhance the learning environment for your children.

  • · Thank you for turning in your physicals on time. It's very much appreciated!

Would you like to donate?

We could use:

  • Is there ever a time when you say to yourself, " I wonder if The Tot Spot would want this"? We could use it in so many ways. You may have babies, but the whole school is yours. Everything can turn into a sensory activity or learning experience. So, before you throw out your junk, ask your teacher if it could be used

The Teacher's Spotlight

Which Disney Character would you be and would you trade places with them?

  • Ms. Kit: W'Kabi from Black Panther and Carol Danvers from Captain Marvel but I wouldn't trade places with either of them.
  • Ms. Katie: Tinkerbell! I don't think I'd switch places, but I'd keep the wings lol!
  • Ms. Maggie: Dash from the Incredibles because he can go really fast and yes I would trade places with him.
  • Ms. Kasche: Miguel from Coco and yes!
  • Ms. Kelsey: Bell for Beauty and the Beast! And no, I'll keep my prince charming
  • Ms. Helen: I don't think I have a favorite Disney hero. When I was little, I never got the chance to watch Disney movies and now i am too old or too realistic to adore a character. But, I really enjoy the Aladdin movie!
  • Ms. Alisha: I dont really like Disney :( I don't count Star Wars and such. If I had to pick.. I would say Belle because she likes to read!
  • Mr. Mike: The Hulk! and Yes
