UNI Basketball upsets

A great and underrated team shocks the world. They were not even suppose to make the NCAA tournament because (the 1 seed) Wichita State was favored to win the conference tournament and UNI needed to win their conference to make into the NCAA tournament. In the first round of the conference tournament UNI (the 4 seed) cruised past Southern Illinois(The 5 seed). In the second round they had to play Wichita. UNI was a huge underdog but pulled away with the upset in overtime by 5. They were happy but they still had to play the 2 seed, Evansville. In the championship UNI blew a 14 point lead with 10 minutes left and Evansville tied the game with 20 seconds left. UNI held the ball then with two seconds left Wes Washpun steps back at the top of the key fires up a long two, it hits off of the back rim bounces up as the buzzer sounds then falls right back into the net.

This isn't the first time UNI has upset a team in stunning fashion, in 2010, which was the last time UNI made it to the tournament, in the second round UNI stunned the 1 seed Kansas. Even this year in the first round of the tournament they hit a half court shot to win it against Texas. This team is amazing and win continue to surprise more and more people in the future years.
