Thank you!

Staff Meeting on Wednesday
Major Saver Limo Rides
Crisis Drill - Monday
During your class meeting or at a time that is convenient for you on Monday, please discuss the crisis drill for this week:
Restricted Instruction
Restricted Instruction is when there is something that is occurring either outside of the school in the neighborhood or in a particular area in the school that we do not want students to go to that area. Students and staff will get an intercom announcement with specific instructions about where we do not want people to go to. All normal instruction in classrooms and hallways can occur (except for the location that is shared).
Some examples might include:
- Medical emergency in the nurse's office (all students stay away from front office)
- Medical emergency in classroom, wet area, or playground (all students stay away or in classroom in this area)
- Police presence in the neighborhood (all students stay indoors)
- Behavior concerns (students stay away from particular area)
Please note that it is an expectation that this is discussed on Monday. Thank you!
Specials Showcase (formally Fine Arts Night)
The schedule is being finalized, but the kids and parents will have the opportunity to participate in activities in the music room, art room, computer lab, flex room, library, and in the gym. More info to come!
Radios at Dismissal
PTO Funding Requests
Meeting on Tuesday!
The PTO would love to assist your grade level in purchasing items that your students could benefit from. The final meetings for the school year are coming up, so if you are in need...please fill out a form and give to me.
Summer Conference
Vertical Team Planning Page
Please begin to work with your PLC on completing this form so it doesn't sneak up on you at the end of the year. You are welcome to cut and paste anything from the PLC notes. These forms have been put in your grade level "teams".
F&P Assessments
- The testing window is:
KDG = April 15-May 15 and Grades 1-5 = April 10-May 17
A Favor to our Specialists
Reminder!
As a professional courtesy to our wonderful specialists, please share with them if someone is having a difficult time that day so that they can keep a close eye on them and help the child enjoy their experience that day in the specials class.
Tech Update
Reminder!
Tech will be adding Microsoft Wireless adapters to Manchester Park for our projectors.
This will occur during the week of March 11th (Spring Break). Please see the attachment on how to mirror what is on your surface pro to the projector...once it is installed!
Interventions on Synergy
Reminder!
Please make sure that you are putting this on synergy when you begin and then update this when you complete it. This should be done for any behavior or academic interventions.
Visitor Check In
Reminder!
If you can do us a big favor:
If you have a person coming in to help in your classroom (senior serving schools, grandparent, mystery reader, speaker, etc,) that is not a parent at our school, please email or let Cristy, Lesley, and Andrea know.
If we don't know that they are coming, we end up having to stop them at the door and not let them in until we confirm with you...which ends up making our visitors a little testy...so if you can give us a heads up, it will go much smoother. Thanks!
Afternoon Dismissal Duty if you are Absent
Reminder!
If you have a dismissal duty:
- If you are absent (and it is something that you have planned or know in advance), please try and contact a floater or someone on your grade level to see if they can cover your duty. I am not comfortable with substitutes doing these duties because they do not know the kids, our routines, and our procedures. I understand that there are certain substitutes that are our regulars. If these people are your substitute, please feel free to use them for these roles. Thank you!
