Circuit Building Reflection

WHAT DID I DO
Okay so,
During the past week or so, I learned many new things, and many shortcuts for things I previously learned. On top of that, I learned that I might actually really enjoy circuit building. I built the 555 Timer Circuit.
WHAT DID I LEARN
I had my doubts but...
Going into this project, I had basically no knowledge about anything other than cutting and placing wires neatly. I overcame my weakness and I was able to learn how to read and follow a wire diagram (hi-lighters make it really easy). I learned what a capacitor does and how to make lights flash. The most important thing I learned was:
not to put LEDs or capacitors in line with themselves!!!
not to put LEDs or capacitors in line with themselves!!!
I'm basically an engineer already.
WHAT DID I ENJOY
Real talks,
I had the time of my life cutting and placing that wire. Making it all neat and pretty really made me happy. Although, nothing can beat the feeling of when the LEDs FINALLY BEGAN TO FLASH!!! I was so happy even if Mr. Schepis had to help me a bit....
Anyway, I think I've realized a new interest.
(What if I really become an engineer now????)
Anyway, I think I've realized a new interest.

WHAT DID I NOT ENJOY
There was like, one thing.
To be honest I was a little frustrated when my circuit wasn't working. After I realized my capacitor was in line with itself, I felt a bit dumb but other than that I really liked this unit.
IF I HAD TO REPEAT THIS PROJECT
There's a couple things I'd change...
A. I probably would never repeat this because it was so frustrating
B. If I had to, I'd probably not put things in line with themselves
and
C. I'd pick prettier LED colours
Other than that, I think I did an okay job the first time around
