18 Uses for Moroccan Argan Oil
1. Face moisturizer
After cleansing morning and/or night, massage a few drops of argan oil directly onto your face and neck. Since argan is considered a dry oil, it absorbs quickly and is not greasy. If you want to use it as a serum, apply your night cream after the oil absorbs into the skin.
2. Nighttime Moisturizer
Argan oil absorbs quickly, without any oily residue.
3. Skin Toner
For an all-over glow, add 2-4 drops to 8 ounces of our toner!
4. Exfoliating
Add to our exfoliator, and get extra anti-aging effects!
5. Exfoliating lip scrub
To smooth and moisturize your lips, add a few drops of argan oil and vanilla extract to fine brown sugar. Lightly massage into lips using circular motion and rinse off.
6. Rejuvenating & brightening face mask
Add a few drops of argan oil to our moisturizing anti-aging mask.
7. Face glow
Add a drop or two of argan oil to your foundation, bronzer or tinted moisturizer for a dewy, luminous glow.
8. Acne
Great news for anyone that is suffering from acne – argan oil has been proven to reduce sebum levels in individuals with oily skin!
9. Stretch Marks
Argan oil can help prevent stretch marks by improving the elasticity of the skin. Warm 2-3 drops of pure argan oil in the palm of your hands and gently rub your stomach, hips, thighs or any other potential problem areas.
10. Razor Bumps and Burn
Razor bumps and razor burn are uncomfortable and unsightly. Argan oil is an effective treatment to soothe and heal for men after shaving, as well as women for their legs and bikini line.
11. Whole-Body Moisturizer
Once you see amazing ways that argan oil benefits your face, do not hesitate to use it as your whole-body moisturizer!
12. Leave-In Conditioner & Styling Long Healthy Hair
Argan oil is not only beneficial to skin – it is also great for hair. This non-greasy oil makes for the perfect leave-in conditioner that makes your hair easier to style while repairing those pesky split ends! There is some research that indicates argan oil can even promote hair growth, so be sure to rub it in to your scalp too. Depending on the thickness, texture, condition, and length of your hair, you may need anywhere from 1 drop to 3 drops.
13. Hair shine
When your hair is dry, use as a styling product by adding a few drops of argan oil to the palms of your hand. Rub your hands together and run your fingers through your hair to create shine and tame frizz. You only need a small amount. It lasts a long time.
14. Overnight Deep Conditioning Treatment
If you have dry, brittle hair, once a week do an overnight deep conditioning treatment with argan oil. Warm 4-10 drops in your hands before massaging into your scalp.
15. Lip Conditioner
Rub in 1-2 drops, and wipe away any excess. This will not only heal any cracked lips, but also keep your lips soft, smooth and conditioned.
16. Cuticles and Nails
Now, let’s talk about how this can help your nails! Argan oil’s non-greasy moisture is an ideal treatment for cuticles and nails. Remove all polish from fingernails and toenails, and rinse thoroughly. Keeps your cuticles moisturized so you don’t develop painful hangnails.
17. Dry Feet and Heels
If you have dry cracking skin on your feet or heels, rub 2 drops into your feet, paying special attention to the problem areas. Cover with a pair of cozy socks to give the oil a chance to soak in. Leave the socks on for at least 20 minutes, and preferably overnight.
18. Body and bath oil
Add a few drops of argan oil directly onto your skin, into the bath or body lotion. It’s safe to use on a baby and to help minimize stretch marks on a pregnant belly too.
