Check out this great list of web tools, compiled by Beth Rihtar (Emerson ITC) that students can use on their Chromebooks to create their own comics. Students can also use Google Drawing to make comic strips!
EdSurge Event in the West Loop This Wednesday

Check out this fun web tool that allows users to embed many tools onto any screen. Some of the capabilities include: pick a random name, roll a die, classroom sound level monitor, generate a QR code, set a timer, and more!
Technology-Enhanced Items Practice Sites
Check out this list of practice sites that include technology-enhanced items, such as labeling an image, building equations, editing text, drag and drop, and more. These types of questions are commonly found on tests, such as PARCC. All of these practice sites are FREE and do NOT require a login. These sites are a great way to expose students to questions that require higher order thinking skills.
