From the Principal

Dear Bobcat Families,

We had a great week back! It was wonderful seeing our Bobcats back on campus. Teachers spent a lot of time reviewing procedures and expectations and the students did a great job getting back into a routine.

If your child is in 2nd-4th grade, report card grades are posted in Parent Access Center. Kindergarten and first-grade report cards will be coming home Tuesday in take-home folders.

This week we also had our TEA safety audit, and we passed with 0 findings. I am proud of the work our teachers and staff are doing to keep our students safe. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Thompson

Reporting Student Absences

To report an absence for your child, do one of the following:

  • Call our attendance line at 936-709-1682 and leave a message stating your child’s name, reason for the absence, person reporting the absence, and a phone number.
  • Email the registrar – srandall@conroeisd.net with your student’s absence information.

When your child returns to school, a note explaining the absence should be brought to their teacher or front office.

Lost & Found

Please remember to label all clothing items with your child’s first and last name. Also, don’t forget to label water bottles, backpacks, and any other personal items. If your child misplaces an item, please remind them to check in the lost and found located in the front office lobby.

Transportation Changes

Transportation changes must be made in writing before 2:00 PM. We cannot accept transportation changes by phone. To submit a transportation change, you may send a written note to the front office with the following information:

  • the date
  • your child's full name
  • homeroom teacher
  • bus number (if applicable)
  • your signature

If an emergency arises, you may send an email to bush@conroeisd.net. The e-mail must include all of the above information and must be received before 2:00 PM. If you submit a transportation change by email, it must go to the email address referenced above. Teachers do not check their email regularly throughout the day, so transportation changes should not be emailed directly to the teacher. Please send a new note for each day the change occurs; we cannot accept notes for multiple days or with multiple changes. District policy states that a student may only ride the bus they are registered to ride; students may not have a transportation change to ride a different bus.
