John Adams was born on October 30, 1735, in Quincy, Massachusetts. He was a Founding Father, the first vice president of the United States and the second president. In 1789, he was placed on the ballot for America's first presidential election. Adam had a son named John Quincy Adams who became nation's sixth president. Adams won the election by a narrow margin, becoming the second president of the United States.
